First and foremost I’d like to welcome you to Daily Unblock.  My name is John Mathews, and this website has been a work of love and passion for myself over the last year and a half now.  It all started when I was in Jr. High and I was the “nerd” who was the source for all the best tips and tricks to get by the ever growing annoying website filters our school district decided was needed.

For the longest time I enjoyed being the “go to guy” for accessing our Facebook and MySpace profiles while at school. Slowly though the teachers and our districts IT’s started to catch on to our publicly released Website that bypassed their filters. So I had to start developing my own filters that we’re “clean” from all the advertising and wording that red flagged the websites by the districts filter.

By the time I was ending my turn at Jr. High, it got so bad that everyday we’d need a brand new clean website to slip by this filter which we all felt had become over bearing and suppressive. That’s when I got the idea for a website where everyday I’d update it and release a website that let you bypass your school or office’s filter.

Here I am three years later still working on projects to help other students and employee’s stuck behind filters which limit their freedom and creativity. We’ve taken a basic idea of an online source to something which is continually growing and developing, which no includes text and email notifications. We pride ourselves on our creative thinking and resourcefulness when it comes down to finding a way to by pass those annoying filters.
